The Shareholders’ Committees were established under the Shareholders’ Agreement to assist the Board in an advisory capacity to manage the company. There are four committees that address Technical, Personnel, Financial and Commercial matters and meet prior to each Board Meeting. Each shareholder has the right to be represented on each shareholder committee.
The shareholder committees do not take decisions for the company, but review and endorse management recommendations for the Board of Directors to approve.
The shareholders convene an Annual General Meeting each year (usually immediately after the 1st annual meeting of the Board of Directors) at which the Financial Statements for the previous year are approved along with the final dividend declaration for that year and the appointment of the company auditor for the current year.
